Abalone and American Ginseng with Chicken Stew
Ingredients: (for 3-4 persons)
Frozen green edge abalone – 1 big piece
American ginseng slice – 1 tael
Chicken – 1/2
Ginger slice – adequate
Salt – adequate
1) Defreeze the abalone and wash thoroughly.
2) Cut the chicken into pieces after removal of its skin, blanch and drain.
3) Put all the ingredients into the stewing mug and add 8-10 bowls of water*, stew for 3-4 hrs.*, add salt before serving.
4) Abalone can be sliced and served with soy sauce or oyster sauce.
*The quantity of water depends on personal preference.
*The length of time depends on the capability of the stewing pot.
